Our puppy has had a really difficult time at every groomer we’ve tried because he’s just so terrified. We were looking for somewhere with a fear free approach and the experience and patience to work with a nervous, 90 lb Newfypoo. We’re so happy we found Barkly’s!
Albie was immediately nervous when we arrived, but Vanessa was so calm and patient with him. She sat on the floor with him until we could visibly see him relax, which made us feel comfortable leaving him there. We were nervous too, and she sent us the cutest picture during his bath to let us know he was doing okay!
On the way there, he was a nervous wreck in the car, but on the way home, he was so calm and settled. That meant so much to us. We’re really thankful for how kind and patient she was with our boy and so relieved to have finally found somewhere that takes the time to understand him. We’ll absolutely be booking again and can't recommend Barkly’s highly enough.

Loki looked and smelled phenomenal after his appointment, you can immediately tell the care and attention to detail that went into his groom. The Fear-Free approach is so evident in how calm and happy he was. It gives such peace of mind knowing your pup is in gentle, capable hands. We will definitely be back!
